About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities according to assignment
Further develop cybersecurity knowledge through hands-on experience and engagement with the Security Engineering team
Assist with security engineering activities, including technical analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and security technology support
Participate in cybersecurity projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused on security controls, processes, automation, and operational effectiveness
Coordinate and collaborate with interns and cybersecurity team members on cohort projects, research, analysis, documentation, and presentation of findings
Support additional Security Engineering and broader Cybersecurity department projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Dependable, flexible and able to maintain confidential information
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
