Key responsibilities & impact

Provide support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities as assigned
Support data science, machine learning, and AI projects using Python and real-world healthcare data
Perform exploratory data analysis, model development, and experimentation
Explore emerging AI technologies including LLMs, small language models, RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic AI
Evaluate potential AI applications to healthcare and business problems
Develop and test machine learning, forecasting, computer vision, NLP, and other analytical solutions
Apply coding and analytical skills to independent, project-based work
Collaborate with experienced data scientists while experimenting with new approaches and technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Dependable, flexible and able to maintain confidential information
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
