About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own assigned components of the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, and accruals
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the integrity of all financial data in the ERP system
Conduct GL account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Review, code, reconcile, and process vendor invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements
Partner with Ramp to ensure timely and accurate expense processing
Support cash flow forecasting inputs related to AP cycles
Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit and review processes
Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of accounting policies and positions
Support implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting procedures
Partner with FP&A and Revenue Operations to ensure financial transactions are captured accurately and completely
Assist with systems and process improvement initiatives, including ERP implementations and optimizations
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by the Controller or CFO
Report to the Controller

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of accounting experience with a strong grasp of accrual accounting
Hands-on experience supporting or managing a month-end close process
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, corporate finance fundamentals and US GAAP
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data volumes
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA license or active CPA candidacy
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other Microsoft ERP systems
Familiarity with Ramp or similar expense management platforms
Background in SaaS, FinTech, or a similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment
