About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and maintain the Care Fellowship alumni network, including the alumni database, contact information, and engagement history
  • Implement alumni engagement goals and programs while tracking priorities, timelines, and next steps
  • Develop and maintain a ladder of engagement for alumni skill-building and leadership opportunities
  • Manage alumni outreach and communications, including newsletters, invitations, and follow-up
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for network events, calls, and trainings
  • Host regular conversations with the Care Fellow Network to build community and gather feedback
  • Connect alumni with campaign programs and opportunities, including 1 Million Care Conversations
  • Incorporate language justice and disability justice into access tools
  • Track and share alumni stories for campaign and media/press storytelling
  • Maintain a storybank of alumni and Fellow stories
  • Coordinate with Communications, Culture Change, Development, Digital, and Campaigns teams
  • Support Care Fellowship program operations, inbox management, contracts, payment requests, files, trackers, templates, agendas, notes, and action items
  • Strengthen project management systems and tools
  • Share regular updates with the Associate Director of Training and cross-functional teams
  • Track alumni engagement, attendance, and participation data
  • Participate in retreats, staff meetings, supervision, team meetings, training, and professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–6 years of experience working for causes and movements, with experience in organizing, community outreach, or program coordination
  • Experience coordinating networks, events, or programs, including scheduling, logistics, and tracking multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management tools and digital tools for outreach and storytelling, such as Asana, Slack, or a constituent database
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently, meet multiple deadlines, and solve problems with attention to detail, maturity, judgment, and discretion
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and in a team environment
  • Commitment to the organization's mission, values, and aspirations
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and gender justice and to building a multicultural, anti-racist organization
  • Familiarity with incorporating language justice and disability justice into access tools
  • Access to strong WiFi and good phone reception
