About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver Project Compassion, emergency appeals and other community fundraising initiatives
  • Grow income, engagement and awareness
  • Build relationships with community fundraisers, schools and parishes
  • Support campaign strategy, digital fundraising, supporter engagement and campaign delivery
  • Coordinate campaigns and contribute ideas using supporter insights
  • Continuously improve fundraising activities
  • Reach out to supporters and engage with them by phone

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fundraising experience, ideally across campaigns, community fundraising or events
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Confidence engaging and proactively reaching out to supporters
  • Good organisation and project coordination skills
  • Salesforce CRM or digital fundraising platform experience is desirable
  • Required to undergo relevant background checks, including Police Checks, Working with Children Checks and Reference Checks
  • Required to abide by safeguarding policies and sign the Code of Conduct, including Professional Behaviour Standards for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults
  • May be required to undertake health checks or receive vaccinations, depending on the role
