Provide educational leadership
Ensure a quality learning environment for all students
Plan, organize, implement, and assess assigned didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences
Demonstrate mastery of the teaching area
Participate in course development and evaluation
Advise students and/or mentor faculty
Incorporate current and relevant literature into classroom work

Requirements

What you’ll need

PhD in a related field
Current knowledge/skill set in area(s) of expertise
Mastery of teaching area
Active engagement in the discipline to maintain teaching and/or clinical expertise
Ability to participate in course development and evaluation
Ability to serve as a faculty advisor or mentor
Ability to engage in collaborative research or creative activity
Ability to contribute to academic committees and serve as a committee leader
Ability to participate in student recruitment and quality improvement
