About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a full-time paid training program to prepare for and successfully pass the Certified Medical Assistant exam
  • Perform routine direct patient care duties assisting medical and nursing staff with patient examination and treatment
  • Attend Academy classes and clinical rotations to learn CMA job responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the CMA preceptor during clinical rotations
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients

  • Upon successful program completion and examination, transfer to a CMA department position

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days — American Heart Association (AHA)
  • CMA or RMA within 4 months
  • Attend Academy classes and clinical rotations
  • Complete all mandatory training and competency modules
  • Full-time availability
  • Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30
  • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
