Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's Degree in Counseling or Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois
  • 2+ years of chemical dependency treatment counseling experience
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to facilitate evidence-based substance abuse treatment modalities, including motivational interviewing, rational emotive therapy, cognitive therapy, narrative therapy, trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychoeducation
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities at various organizational levels
  • Ability to integrate best practices and support Clinical Team members in implementation
  • Commitment to exploring emerging treatment skills and frameworks
