About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide one-on-one tutoring
- Conduct group supplemental instruction workshops and other academic support activities
- Assist students in developing effective study and time management skills
- Assess student needs and collaborate with faculty on student learning and development
- Assist with all areas of the Center for Student Success, including tutoring and supplemental instruction
- Participate in College activities as assigned
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the Center for Student Success
- Promote a positive image of the College to internal and external constituencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Associate's Degree in Biological Science
- Ability to provide tutoring in nursing, healthcare, mathematics, and sciences
- Ability to work 3 weekdays
- Weekend availability as needed
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality according to FERPA guidelines
