About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and participate in daily clinic preparation
  • Identify patients and perform patient check-in/check-out
  • Post charges and manage cash
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Register patients and set up accounts
  • Handle phone calls and distribute messages according to practice communication standards
  • Accurately and timely report medical information from patients and referring physicians

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic computer skills
  • General office equipment proficiency
  • Proficient with insurance coverage rules, including eligibility, network coverage, and benefits
  • Successful completion of mandatory insurance training and ongoing competency refreshers
  • Competent to initiate and secure prior authorizations as needed
  • Must be available Monday-Friday 7-5 and Saturdays 8-12
  • Weekend availability required
  • No holiday or on-call requirements
