About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and participate in daily clinic preparation
  • Identify patients and conduct patient check-in/check-out
  • Post charges and manage cash
  • Schedule patient appointments

  • Take and deliver messages to physicians, nurses, and others

  • Initiate and secure prior authorizations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree
  • General office equipment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Competence with telephone systems
  • Proficiency with insurance coverage rules, including eligibility, network coverage, and benefits
  • Successful completion of mandatory insurance training and ongoing competency refreshers
  • Ability to initiate and secure prior authorizations as needed
  • Ability to accurately and timely report medical information
  • Full-time availability for Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. schedule
