  • Produce documentation in accordance with the Clinical Process Policy
  • Screen patients to determine the effectiveness and need for therapy services
  • Use and monitor support personnel according to legal and ethical guidelines, providing regular feedback
  • Complete assigned annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements, if applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days
  • Ability to perform patient transfers safely with assistance as needed
  • Knowledge and use of safe and appropriate body mechanics
  • Ability to design and adjust physical therapy plans of care
  • Ability to educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and healthcare providers
  • Ability to evaluate clinical findings and determine physical therapy diagnoses and outcomes
  • Ability to perform relevant, reliable, and valid examinations
  • Ability to produce documentation in accordance with Clinical Process Policy
  • Ability to screen patients to determine effectiveness and need for therapy services
  • Ability to use and monitor support personnel according to legal and ethical standards
  • Ability to complete annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements, if applicable
