Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior Emergency Department experience, ideally more than 2 years
  • Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Associate's degree
