  • Complete initial patient assessments and develop care plans based on patient and family needs
  • Implement and continuously modify nursing care plans, interventions, and procedures
  • Report or correct patient and employee safety hazards and incidents
  • Communicate and collaborate with providers, staff, patients, visitors, and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation and patient records
  • Provide constructive peer feedback and contribute to professional development
  • Identify learning needs and take initiative to address them

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Nursing care competencies specific to the Emergency Department
  • Completion of all departmental competencies
  • Ability to perform patient assessments and develop care plans
  • Ability to implement nursing interventions and patient care procedures
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ability to work night shift: 7p–7:30a, three 12-hour shifts
  • Every third weekend requirement
  • Every other holiday requirement
  • One call shift every third schedule
  • Participation in E-Verify and completion of Form I-9 work authorization requirements
