About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform daily inventory checks on department supply carts
Unload shipments, verify contents, electronically receive shipments, and resolve discrepancies with Purchasing
Rotate stock and monitor supplies for expiration
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
Transport mail, supplies, bank deposits, pharmaceuticals, and lab specimens to Carle and non-Carle facilities
Stage products for internal and external distribution
Fulfill orders and perform data entry
Transport supplies and equipment throughout the facility
Liaise between nursing units and the Storeroom to deliver, replenish, and stock supplies
Provide customer service and escalate concerns to management
Process product returns
Clean, prepare, and perform basic maintenance on medical equipment; maintain code-cart stock

Requirements

What you’ll need

Work experience in warehouse distribution
Ability to work the evening shift, 2:30pm–11pm Monday–Friday
Ability to work every other weekend
Ability to work holidays
Ability to transport supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, lab specimens, mail, and bank deposits safely and efficiently
Ability to perform accurate order fulfillment and data entry
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks on medical equipment
Participation in employment eligibility verification through E-Verify
