About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Rehab staff with patient care and delegated therapy tasks
  • Ensure patient safety while assisting therapists
  • Check in and supervise independent access clients, when applicable
  • Maintain, fuel, and arrange oil changes for the CTS vehicle
  • Keep equipment and work areas organized and compliant with policies and Joint Commission and CMS standards
  • Monitor daily delivery-area arrivals and stock orders and supplies
  • Sanitize equipment and maintain required records
  • Work with the supply coordinator to maintain appropriate supply levels
  • Provide environmental setup, CPM fitting, and second-assist support as directed by therapists
  • Clean and organize dirty equipment and keep the therapy environment free of clutter
  • Assist with ordering and stocking supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks such as rescheduling, department tracking, and other assigned functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Ability to assist therapists with delegated patient-care tasks
  • Ability to perform environmental setup, fit CPM equipment, and provide a second assist as directed
  • Ability to sanitize equipment according to infection-control policies and maintain records
  • Ability to maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas according to department policies and Joint Commission and CMS standards
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks including rescheduling and department tracking
  • Minimum availability of 16 hours per month
  • During onboarding, a regular weekday schedule is preferred for at least the first couple of weeks
  • Must meet legal standards and department guidelines for support of clinical or office personnel
