About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform moderately complex material handling system work
- Interpret documents
- Run waves, rack notify, and stock notify
- Pick, out sort, pack, and clean up aged orders
- Monitor workflow and system functions
- Recommend or employ solutions where appropriate
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to improve team performance
- Develop and transfer performance skills to the assigned team
- Seek opportunities for improvement throughout the organization
- Assist team members in identifying development areas and establishing skill development plans
- Participate in developing and implementing operating procedures
- Maintain safe operating practices
- Utilize and direct team resources toward specific goals and objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Experience communicating goals and allocating and managing resources
- Ability to problem solve and apply detailed organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example
- Ability to understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures
- Detailed experience working with mobile computer scanning equipment
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Ability to take direction from Supervisors and follow work rules and procedures
- Functional reading, writing, and math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Written and verbal communication/instruction skills
- Education and experience may be substituted for one another
