About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the transformation of the collision business to an aggregate negative cash conversion cycle, targeting vendor payment terms to support a 3-turn business
  • Bring Taiwan-origin container consolidation in-house under the Taiwan Office while preserving carrier rate leverage
  • Build sourcing capability in at least two additional geographies within the first 18 months
  • Design the sourcing organization and build fully staffed Taiwan and U.S. teams
  • Establish a Taiwan-and-U.S. two-hub operating model with decision rights, cross-functional RACI, and governance cadence
  • Build and maintain should-cost models, category scorecards, and gap-closure trackers
  • Ensure cost levers pass safety and compliance review
  • Modernize sourcing operations by replacing manual workflows with automated systems and exception management
  • Integrate Sourcing and Replenishment systems so lead times, in-transit status, and order data flow automatically
  • Report progress to the COO, executive leadership, and the board
  • Personally drive vendor negotiations and oversee component-level cost-gap analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in sourcing, procurement, or global supply chain
  • Senior/executive-level experience with P&L-adjacent accountability
  • Long-tail experience
  • Experience with 50K+ SKUs
  • Previous sourcing P&L exceeding $200M
  • Hands-on experience negotiating and restructuring vendor payment terms or driving working-capital improvement at scale
  • Experience managing vendor-managed inventory, consignment, or fully-funded partner relationships with contract manufacturers or private-label/branded suppliers
  • Operating experience with Taiwan and/or China-based sourcing, manufacturing, or logistics operations, including freight and container consolidation
  • Ability to partner with Accounting, Tax, Legal, Finance, and HR on cross-functional, compliance-sensitive initiatives
  • Track record of building, scaling, and leading international teams across multiple geographies
  • Working knowledge of automotive parts manufacturing and U.S. safety/regulatory standards
  • Experience leading process modernization or systems implementation initiatives affecting sourcing, procurement, or supply chain planning
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Preferred: automotive aftermarket parts industry experience, especially lighting, mirrors, catalytic converters, or body parts
  • Preferred: component-level should-cost modeling or cost engineering experience
  • Preferred: working proficiency in Mandarin
  • Preferred: experience standing up new international sourcing offices
