About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee loans with active mortgage insurance, including FHA, MIP, and USDA
Reconcile, process, and bulk transfer monthly FHA, PMI, and USDA payments
Communicate with FHA, PMI, and USDA vendors to obtain information, research issues, and resolve problems
Assist escrow management with boarding processes and reconciliation for recently acquired loan populations
Process pending-refinance loan reports to stop escrow disbursements
Compile spreadsheets and generate data points for daily and weekly tasking and monthly business reviews
Conduct quality-control reviews of junior-level associates and report findings to escrow management
Escalate complex escrow issues to team leads or management and recommend solutions
Complete tasks in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
College education preferred but not required
Previous experience using mortgage loan servicing and loan originating systems such as FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, Digital Portal, AutoPilot, and OnBase
Three to four years of banking, finance, mortgage, or escrow experience
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Ability to perform Escrow Liaison Level II and Escrow Liaison Senior duties
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management internally and externally
Ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to troubleshoot moderate to highly complex escrow issues and make impactful decisions
Ability to self-motivate and work with limited supervision
Strong math skills and ability to balance and check results for accuracy
Ability to organize and prioritize work while assisting less experienced team members and trainees
Ability to communicate orally accurately, audibly, and quickly
