Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support production operations, testing, and maintenance of unmanned, automated, robotic, and electromechanical equipment
  • Perform all maintenance functions, including electro-mechanical functions, individually and in team environments
  • Demonstrate and perform electro-mechanical operations for USPC
  • Program USPC equipment
  • Work with PLC and USPC programs
  • Use electronic schematics, computerized work order systems, Allen-Bradley software, and Siemens S7 software
  • Follow written procedures and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with team members and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Continuous desire for learning and improvement pertaining to the Electro Mechanical position
  • Thorough understanding of USPC operations
  • Experience performing maintenance functions, including electro-mechanical functions
  • Electronics course from an accredited university (preferably a mechatronics course)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of programming USPC equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work with PLC and USPC programs
  • Knowledge of electronic schematics
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic systems, PLCs, and USPC equipment
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley software including RSLogix 500 and RSLogix 5000
  • Familiarity with Siemens S7 software
  • Ability to use a computerized work order system
  • High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to work well with team members and leadership team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to sit at a workstation approximately 20% of work time and stand/walk approximately 80%
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to twist, reach, bend, grasp, and manipulate objects
  • Ability to operate various machine and hand tools
  • Ability to work around moving parts, pallets, trucks, and machines with required safety precautions
  • Ability to wear provided PPE, including hearing protection and steel-toed shoes
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship available
