About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development team and report directly to executive management
  • Act as the central interface between business departments, international locations, and software development
  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership and support the team’s ongoing development
  • Coordinate with business departments, users, and developers
  • Gather and prioritize requirements and translate them into clear user stories
  • Manage the backlog from initial idea through successful implementation
  • Represent priorities to business departments and country organizations
  • Support technical decision-making and contribute to development activities when needed
  • Further develop the ERP system for commercial, logistics, and production-related processes
  • Continuously improve development processes, methods, and tools, and introduce new technological approaches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience managing software projects, including leadership responsibility
  • Excellent communication and assertiveness at all levels, from end users to executive management
  • Structured, solution-oriented approach and a passion for motivating people and aligning them around shared goals
  • Ability to quickly understand business processes, ideally in ERP, logistics, or production environments
  • Experience with C#/.NET, SQL, and relational databases
  • Experience with client-server desktop applications and multi-tier architectures
  • Experience in technical requirements management and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • German and English language skills at C1 level or higher
  • Experience with WPF, Entity Framework, DevExpress, and MVVM is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Web API, and REST interfaces is a plus
  • Experience with design patterns, unit testing, and TDD is a plus
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents is a plus
  • Experience with intralogistics and logistics business processes is a plus
