About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models
- Perform light maintenance through heavy engine work, including timing belts and suspension systems
- Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues
- Work on electric and hybrid vehicles
- Repair wheel bearings and axles
- Repair vehicle climate control systems, including ACs and heater cores
- Prepare low-mileage, late-model vehicles for customers through inspection and reconditioning
- Work first shift, Monday through Friday, 6 AM–3 PM
- Work mandatory overtime based on business needs
- Use state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to perform automotive repairs and diagnostics on all makes and models
- Experience diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, including electric and hybrid vehicles
- Ability to repair wheel bearings and axles
- Ability to repair vehicle climate control systems, including ACs and heater cores
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment
- Ability to work while exposed to excessive heat and cold
- Ability to use required safety equipment and protective garments
- Must pass a complete background check
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
