About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help the bartender with the daily operation of the bar.
- Replenish liquor, beer, and wine during the shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, refrigerators, and service areas.
- Assist with opening and closing side-work as assigned.
- Receive liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of bar or lounge areas.
- Perform other duties requested by management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in the bar industry or a related field required.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with employees and guests.
- Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Ability to frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or sit.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in an environment with smoke or airborne particles, wet and/or humid conditions, and moderate noise.
