About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build relationships with clients and the various stakeholders in their ecosystems, including business and industry-specific media
  • Participate in the design, execution, and management of large-scale corporate communications, media relations, and strategic positioning projects
  • Collaborate on integrated communications campaigns, including reputation and public perception issues, with a particular focus on healthcare
  • Develop new business, particularly in the healthcare sector
  • Advise on and develop strategic plans for issue and crisis management
  • Create content and produce materials, including press releases, key messages, and brand positioning documents
  • Actively monitor business, regulatory, and societal trends that may influence clients’ reputations and positioning
  • Provide high-level strategic counsel to clients’ executive teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five to seven years of experience in communications, including significant experience at a public relations firm, agency, or in-house corporate environment
  • Healthcare sector experience required
  • Familiarity with regulatory issues and business and healthcare stakeholders
  • University degree in communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field
  • Experience managing large-scale corporate communications and media relations projects
  • Excellent writing skills, including press releases, speeches, strategic plans, key messages, and more
  • Fluent bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Established network in business circles and the technology sector
  • Pan-Canadian experience managing a variety of mandates is an asset
