About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide daily direct support and training to individuals with disabilities to maintain community employment
Provide transition programming to students in workplace settings
Work with teachers and students to develop career and site-training action plans
Build professional relationships with business liaisons and site employees
Write weekly reports and detailed progress logs against defined benchmarks
Provide follow-along services to maintain employment outcomes for employees and employers
Set realistic workplace expectations and hold students accountable for workplace behavior
Improve training strategies, accommodations, customized employment, and program delivery
Deliver end-to-end support to host sites, interns/clients, families, and schools
Facilitate intern rotations and identify or support reasonable accommodations and training
Maintain routine contact with Vocational Rehabilitation and Medicaid Waiver clients at work and home, including driving to various locations
Assess employment needs and develop solutions and enhancement strategies
Develop and implement Employment Stability Plans using person-centered planning

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong office and productivity software skills
Strong time management and prioritization
Ability to follow synchronous and asynchronous directions
Ability to communicate in person, digitally, and in writing
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to feedback
Ability to provide constructive and positive feedback
Problem-solving skills and accountability for challenges
Entrepreneurial and agile spirit
Leadership and ability to guide and support others without direct supervisory authority
Valid Florida Driver’s License required
Personal vehicle in good working order, able to pass ASE-certified mechanic inspection and meet safety standards
Maintain auto liability insurance at $100,000 per person and $300,000 aggregate
Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM preferred
Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
Appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings
Bachelor’s degree or relevant combination of education/experience required
Major in Education, Rehabilitative Service, or Business preferred
3+ years of related experience in a non-profit environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical activities
