About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, and production rollout
Develop with observability in mind, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance
Diagnose p99 latency issues using query profiles and flame graphs
Design datastores and distributed systems behind the inference API
Maintain reliability as usage scales from solo developers to large enterprises
Build billing, usage metering, and role-based controls
Own infrastructure, datastores, analytics, observability, and CI/CD pipeline
Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams on complex problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Production experience with Go or TypeScript is strongly preferred; candidates without either should demonstrate strong systems programming skills in a comparable language
Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills, including query profiling, index design, and database performance tuning beyond ORM usage
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes is a strong plus
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
Strong English skills, verbal and written
Personally driven a complex project end-to-end
No visa sponsorship/work permit provided
