About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect planner/executor/evaluator pipelines using different models for planning, execution, and evaluation
Manage agent memory and context, including state persistence across sessions, context compaction, and tool-call offloading
Own the harness surface, including TUI, MCP integrations, and telemetry
Work directly with users and colleagues to identify, understand, and fix pain points
Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, and production rollout
Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams on complex problems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Production experience with Go or TypeScript is strongly preferred; candidates without either should demonstrate strong systems programming skills in a comparable language
Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills, including query profiling, index design, and database performance tuning beyond ORM usage
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes is a strong plus
Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
Strong English skills, verbal and written
Personally driven a complex project end-to-end
Experience working with harnesses and creating AI workflows is a strong plus
May undergo a background check at the final stage of recruitment
Must not require visa sponsorship or a work permit from Cast AI
