About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design documents
Configure standard Business Central functionalities, including General Ledger, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Warehouse Management
Design, develop, and deploy custom extensions and modifications using AL and Visual Studio Code
Create and modify standard and custom reports using RDLC and Word layouts
Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and third-party systems such as CRM, e-commerce, banking, and payroll using APIs, OData, and web services
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
Manage data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading from legacy systems
Provide end-user training and create documentation for new processes and customizations
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and functional consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
Stay current with Business Central updates, features, best practices, and the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant or Engineer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV
Strong proficiency in AL language development for Business Central extensions
Deep functional knowledge of core Business Central modules, including Financial Management, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
Experience with data migration tools and techniques, including RapidStart and Configuration Packages
Proficiency integrating Business Central with external systems using REST APIs, OData, and SOAP web services
Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, and its integration with Business Central
Experience with PowerShell for automation
Ability to work within CET ± 3 hours
