About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and continuously refine Catalis's 3–5 year long-term financial model
  • Integrate revenue drivers, cost structure, headcount, capital plans, and M&A scenarios
  • Translate strategic and operating plans into financial projections for board, investor, and lender reporting
  • Stress-test the model against alternative growth, pricing, and M&A scenarios
  • Build and maintain the bookings-to-ARR waterfall model
  • Track conversion of new bookings into recognized ARR based on implementation timelines, go-live schedules, ramp assumptions, churn, and upsell/cross-sell activity
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales Ops, and Implementation/Delivery teams to maintain current assumptions
  • Reconcile bookings targets with ARR and revenue targets and explain variances to leadership
  • Act as embedded finance partner to leaders across Catalis's verticals
  • Support P&L management, forecasting, budget-to-actual analysis, and business cases for new investments
  • Partner with Sales Operations on pipeline reviews, quota setting, bookings forecasting, sales compensation design, and rep productivity analysis
  • Lead annual budgeting and recurring reforecast cycles
  • Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages, board materials, and variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain SaaS and recurring-revenue KPIs
  • Ensure consistent KPI definitions across the business
  • Support financial diligence and integration modeling for acquisitions
  • Lead or contribute to ad hoc strategic and financial analyses for executives and investors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking/private equity experience
  • Demonstrated experience owning long-term financial models and translating bookings/pipeline data into ARR and revenue forecasts
  • SaaS and/or PE-backed company experience
  • Deep fluency in SaaS metrics and unit economics (ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC/LTV, bookings vs. revenue timing)
  • Advanced Excel/financial modeling skills
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with a track record of influencing non-finance stakeholders such as sales and vertical leaders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Experience supporting multiple business units, verticals, or product lines simultaneously
  • Experience with FP&A or BI tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Power BI, Looker)
  • Experience with M&A modeling or integration
  • MBA or CFA
