About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, operational constraints, and business challenges
- Translate customer needs into integrated, scalable autonomous haulage solutions
- Evaluate opportunities for customer value creation, productivity improvement, commercial viability, sustainable growth, and strategic alignment
- Connect autonomy technologies, digital services, analytics, fleet management systems, and emerging innovations to customer objectives
- Develop trusted relationships with industry leaders, mining companies, and strategic accounts
- Collaborate with Business Development, Mine Operations, Technology, Customer Relationship Management, and Engineering teams
- Help develop outcome-based agreements, gain-share and risk-sharing models, and long-term strategic partnership models
- Bring customer insights into strategy, planning, and solution development
- Shape commercial strategies and future business models for autonomous mining adoption
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong business acumen and comprehensive understanding of mining business drivers, operating models, production priorities, cost pressures, capital planning, and site-level constraints
- Ability to analyze complex customer and business situations, evaluate tradeoffs, identify risks, and make sound recommendations in ambiguous environments
- Ability to communicate complex autonomy and commercial concepts clearly to senior customer leaders, Cat dealers, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to support customer and internal alignment on solution scope, value commitments, success measures, risk-sharing principles, and commercial tradeoffs
- Knowledge of relationship management techniques
- Hands-on experience connecting technology solutions to customer business objectives and demonstrating measurable value through operational and commercial results
- At least 30% travel required
- Must work full-time onsite five days a week at the Tucson, AZ or Irving, TX office
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Successful completion of a drug screen required
