About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the design, definition, development, and testing of robotics software
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure internal and external client needs are met
- Collect and research customer experience data on robotic platforms
- Prepare reports for management
- Document architecture specifications, software design descriptions, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures
- Use appropriate tools to debug, test, and maintain software and hardware systems for robotic tools
- Assist in verification and validation processes
- Participate in designing and developing application software and algorithms for robotic platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree required in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
- Knowledge of the organization's industry, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters
- Knowledge of problem-solving approaches, tools, and techniques
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Knowledge of software product testing
- Knowledge of application and system development tools and toolkits
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, technologies, and methodologies
- Knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques
- Ability to test, write, design, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain source code and computer programs
- Ability to conduct functional and performance testing
- Ability to analyze code, logs, and current systems for troubleshooting
