About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform analytical tasks and initiatives on large volumes of data to support data-driven business decisions and development
- Collaborate with senior team members to build backend data infrastructure for a new digital product
- Perform extensive data validation using mature techniques and AI
- Analyze customer requirements and develop implementable, maintainable solutions
- Assess data accuracy across large datasets in diverse formats
- Gather, mine, and process high-volume data
- Create appropriate data models
- Present and report business insights to management using data visualization technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically, a Bachelors or Masters degree in Applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
- In-depth technical and problem-solving skills and evidence of continuous learning in the analytics field
- Demonstrated interest in using AI solutions to solve business challenges
- Understanding of controlled vocabularies, authority control, data modeling, and schema design
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, data modeling, and data architecture concepts
- Snowflake and other business intelligence experience
- Working knowledge with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, rapidly changing, and culturally diverse environment
- Experience with version control/repositories such as GitHub
- Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and effective communication
- Ability to work independently to identify data inconsistencies and recommend corrective action
- Working knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques
- Working knowledge of ETL processes and ability to develop a database through ETL
- Extensive understanding of accuracy and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of analytical techniques and tools
- Working knowledge of machine learning principles, technologies, and algorithms
- Working knowledge of Python programming
- Advanced knowledge of data management systems
- Experience using SQL to join multiple large datasets
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Successful completion of a drug screen required
