About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support service coordination for customer calls and requests.
- Prepare service orders, warranty or goodwill claims, and process spare-parts and commercial administration.
- Manage Genuine Parts and tools orders and customer correspondence.
- Prepare service orders for invoicing, collecting required data, invoices, labor sheets, and spare-parts returns.
- Maintain service-shop documentation and share technical information from the Service Library.
- Control invoicing and close orders according to offer prices and customer conditions.
- Support warehouse stock inventories and audits.
- Perform preventative maintenance and on-site service activities on Olympian products.
- Troubleshoot and repair gas/diesel engines and generator equipment at customer sites.
- Use diagnostic software, special tools, and measuring instruments.
- Prepare service reports, inspection protocols, photographs, and documentation folders.
- Participate in internal and external training and stay current with technical innovations.
- Provide technical advice and training to end customers and channel partners.
- Provide remote technical support to Olympian employees.
- Plan work preparation and post-work follow-up; maintain company vehicles, tools, and spare parts.
- Conduct routine system testing, supervised load-bank testing, and operational checks.
- Assist senior technicians with mechanical and electrical diagnosis, including fuel, cooling, and starting systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Perform basic generator commissioning, start-ups, and ATS integration.
- Respond to basic service calls and support emergency after-hours work.
- Learn to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet background, drug, and medical requirements.
- NFPA70E and OSHA10 safety qualification preferred for top candidates.
- Accuracy, organization, customer service, and willingness to travel.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses.
- Travel requirement of 70-90% local and 20-30% outside the local area.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; 24/7 availability as needed.
- May require passing a US Government background check.
- Visa sponsorship is not offered; applicants requiring employer-specific sponsorship are not currently hired.
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon successful completion of a drug screen.
