About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support service coordination for customer calls and requests
- Prepare service orders, warranty or goodwill claims, and process spare-parts and commercial administration
- Manage Genuine Parts and tools orders and customer correspondence
- Prepare service orders for invoicing by collecting data, invoices, labor sheets, and spare-parts returns
- Maintain Service Shop documentation and share technical information from the Service Library
- Control invoicing and close orders according to offered prices and customer conditions
- Support warehouse stock inventory processes and audits
- Perform preventive maintenance and on-site service activities on Olympian products
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on customer sites using diagnostic software, special tools, and measuring instruments
- Prepare service reports, inspection protocols, photographs, and documentation folders
- Complete internal and external training and stay current with technical innovations and circulars
- Provide technical advice and training to end customers and channel partners
- Provide remote technical support to Olympian employees
- Plan work preparation and post-work follow-up
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and spare parts
- Conduct routine system testing, supervised load-bank testing, and operational checks
- Assist senior technicians with fuel, cooling, and starting-system diagnosis
- Perform generator commissioning, start-ups, and ATS integration
- Respond to advanced service calls and support emergency after-hours work
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to meet background, drug, and medical requirements
- NFPA70E and OSHA10 are additional qualifications
- Accuracy, organization, and customer service skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to frequently stand and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses
- Travel requirement of 70-90% local and 20-30% outside local area
- Availability for Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM and 24/7 scheduling as needed
- Ability to work overtime based on business needs
- May require passing a US Government background check
- Must not require employer-specific visa sponsorship
