About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead technical delivery of Dynamics 365 F&O implementations, upgrades, integrations, and customizations
Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise solutions across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations
Design robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions using Agile methods and aligned with business requirements
Collaborate with functional leads, project managers, external partners, functional consultants, vendor partners, finance, supply chain, IT, and dealer stakeholders
Own and drive X++ development, customizations, and extensions using Visual Studio and the D365 Extension framework
Oversee code quality, performance optimization, technical governance, and upgrade-safe customizations
Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using OData, REST/SOAP APIs, AIF/DMF, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, and Dual Write
Support data migration strategies and execution using DMF/Data Management Framework as the primary technical SPOC
Develop reusable templates, frameworks, and accelerators
Drive automation initiatives using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and AI-driven workflows
Manage build, release, and deployment activities across Dev/UAT/Prod environments
Oversee Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC), including code branches, build pipelines, and releases
Estimate and monitor development costs
Mentor engineering teams and foster innovation and delivery excellence
Lead workshops, demos, and technical discussions
Present and negotiate to align teams and priorities
Stay current with Microsoft technologies, Azure services, microservices, and industry trends
Ensure adherence to software engineering, DevOps, solution governance, Microsoft standards, security guidelines, and performance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

12–15+ years of demonstrated work experience in ERP technologies
10+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O/AX in ERP/CRM technical development
Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect in at least 8 full-cycle D365 F&O implementations
Deep hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Project Operations)
Expert-level knowledge of X++ and .NET (C#)
Strong understanding of D365 F&O layered architecture, Data Entities, and OData/REST APIs
Experience with security roles and privileges, workflows, batch jobs, and performance tuning
Expertise in integration strategies between F&O, CE, third-party apps, and legacy systems
Experience with OData, REST/SOAP APIs, AIF/DMF, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, and Dual Write
Experience with Common Data Services (Dual Write) for Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, and Project Operations
Expertise in Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines, CI/CD, release management, and test plans
Proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio and data migration tools (DMF)
Ability to design and deliver AI-powered ERP solutions using Copilot Studio and AI Builder
Extensive experience with data architecture, solution frameworks, and reusable accelerators
Expert-level experience with Azure microservices
Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL
Working knowledge of Azure tenant and environment management
Experience collaborating with ISVs and IPs
Preferred certifications: MB 700, MB 500, PL 600
