About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, dealers, and customers to achieve key-account sales and project execution objectives
Develop and deploy customer forecast translation methods and demand/supply assessment strategies with factories and dealers
Derive accurate demand signals, requests for product (RFP), and long-term forecasts across key accounts
Develop project execution planning, risk management, and contract management strategies
Develop product pipeline strategies and governance to assure supply while reducing Caterpillar’s risks
Develop project milestone tracking and KPIs to measure project execution success and customer satisfaction
Lead technology, process-efficiency, and data-automation initiatives
Liaise with Strategy/Business Transformation teams on business-process automation opportunities
Advise internal teams, dealers, and customers on contract management, project execution, risk mitigation, and performance metrics
Identify process-improvement opportunities across global accounts
Identify, prioritize, document, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

What you’ll need

College degree or equivalent experience
More than 10 years of specific industry experience
Broad business background
Specific long-term industry knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deal with sensitive issues, mentor and coach, and persuade others on new methods of equipment application, new technology, and distribution methods
Previous project or account management experience and/or commercial/operational experience within the company, or significant project/team contribution
Knowledge of customer focus, industry practices, decision-making, critical thinking, negotiation, and relationship management
Domestic travel up to 30% and minimal international travel
Must be able to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office
Visa sponsorship is not offered
Successful completion of a drug screen required
