About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Caterpillar's Customer Value Enablement team in North America
  • Serve as the single point of accountability to regional customers for enabling value from technology solutions
  • Lead approximately 25 positions through multiple managers covering technology implementation and customer readiness and adoption
  • Define future operating states for customer sites based on business cases
  • Integrate technical implementation, operational readiness, and workforce capability into customer engagements
  • Anticipate delivery and capability risks and manage regional capacity and capability
  • Transfer lessons learned to global excellence teams
  • Enable safe, consistent, and profitable execution of complex, high-value mining technology programs
  • Own delivery excellence for a multimillion-dollar project portfolio, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead site change ownership across impacted technology workstreams
  • Partner with engineering, autonomous operations, workforce capability, and commercial teams
  • Lead regional resource planning and workforce deployment
  • Monitor portfolio health and global KPIs, identify risks, remove obstacles, and escalate delivery or financial issues
  • Provide executive oversight for contract execution, major change orders, and complex customer escalations
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational discipline, and knowledge sharing
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional implementation, readiness, and adoption leaders
  • Represent the MineStar implementation organization in enterprise, cross-functional, senior leadership, and executive-level customer forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven success leading leaders and delivering large, complex technology programs in mining, industrial, or operational environments
  • Experience overseeing deployment, integration, validation, and commissioning of autonomous and digital technology solutions
  • Strong analytical capability using operational, financial, and performance data
  • Ability to align technology deployment with customer business objectives and drive adoption
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale implementation and transformation programs
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer engagement experience
  • Extensive experience building trusted relationships with customer executives, dealer leadership, and global cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and cultures
  • Demonstrated success leading regional teams and managing complex deployment organizations
  • Ability to advise customers on operational transformation and define future-state operating models
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead through complex operational and delivery challenges
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or a related field
  • Experience leading value realization for mining technology solutions
  • Experience with MineStar or similar large-scale industrial/mining technology solutions
  • Demonstrated change and adoption leadership
  • Experience in project management, technical system implementation, or large capital programs
  • Experience operating in remote, site-based, and customer-embedded operating models
  • Demonstrated ability to scale organizations and standardize execution globally
  • Ability to work full-time in the Phoenix or Tucson, Arizona office
  • Up to 50% travel required
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Successful completion of a drug screen required
