About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end business and lifecycle management for Reman Air System Products, including aftertreatment, air compressors, and air starters
  • Develop and manage NPI projects across key Reman product areas
  • Ensure Purchase-Finished Reman business compliance with enterprise procedures and product-line strategies
  • Drive product and supplier strategies covering pricing, core, inventory, lifecycle management, and contract terms
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and enterprise partners to support an OPACC-positive Reman business
  • Identify product-line gaps, refine business cases, prioritize NPI opportunities, and monitor progress through NPI gate reviews
  • Manage supply-chain, inventory, forecasting, CPI, side-development, Purchasing, and PSLD risks for major NPI projects
  • Manage P&L to meet full-year profit commitments, including ABP, S&OP, and RBM
  • Manage costs through seeding and stocking decisions, salvage opportunities, supplier negotiations, and agreements
  • Support quality through targeted projects, issue inquiry, and escalations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners and external Reman purchase-finished suppliers
  • Work onsite five days per week at the Mossville, Illinois, Irving, Texas, or Nuevo Laredo, Mexico facility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree and 10+ years of experience demonstrating leadership of complex projects, strong business acumen, project management skills, organization, and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Aftertreatment experience and strong working knowledge of related systems
  • NPI experience and knowledge of supply chain processes, including aftermarket inventory management, purchasing, and supplier relations
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to varied audiences
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong human relations skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for domestic and international supplier and facility visits
  • Ability and requirement to work in-office/onsite five days per week
  • Customer focus, industry knowledge, decision-making and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective communication, negotiation, relationship management, account management, and value-selling experience
  • Must pass background screening
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening
