About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and operational priorities for Caterpillar’s digital experience platforms
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and governance for AEM, Vercel, Akamai, and Enterprise Delivery Services (EDS)
- Prioritize and manage platform backlogs across business demand, enhancements, security, technical debt, operations, and modernization
- Drive platform reliability, performance, and security through CDN capabilities, web application security, upgrades, incident management, vulnerability remediation, and service-level compliance
- Partner with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, marketing, and business stakeholders
- Improve author and developer experiences and accelerate platform adoption through standardized practices and governance
- Manage vendor relationships, licensing, budget planning, and operational metrics
- Provide executive reporting on platform health, roadmap progress, risks, investments, and business value realization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, or related experience within enterprise technology platforms
- Experience managing digital experience, content management, or web application platforms
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Vercel Platform, Next.js Framework, CDN (Akamai), Edge Computing technologies, and AWS
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management practices
- Preferred experience in Headless CMS architectures, Web Content Management Systems, Cloud Infrastructure and Hosting, Security and Compliance requirements, DevOps and CI/CD processes, Site Performance and Core Web Vitals, Digital Analytics and Monitoring
- Knowledge of business analysis
- Knowledge of decision-making and critical thinking
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of software change request management
- Knowledge of software engineering
- Knowledge of software problem management
- Knowledge of software product business
- Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Candidate must be in Chicago, IL, Peoria, IL, Denver, CO, or Dallas, TX
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Ability to travel up to 10%
