About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, integrate, and support scalable digital experience platform capabilities across EDS, Vercel, Uniform, AEM Assets, Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, CDN, and related cloud technologies
Improve platform reliability, security, performance, maintainability, monitoring, and observability through engineering practices and automation
Lead or contribute to incident resolution, root cause analysis, service restoration, and follow-through improvements for business-critical digital applications
Partner with product, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams on platform enhancements, integrations, cloud migration, and modernization
Contribute to code quality, testing, technical documentation, governance, change management, and agile delivery practices
Build, operate, and continuously improve enterprise digital experience platform capabilities for Cat Digital

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated software development and platform engineering experience in enterprise digital environments
Strong hands-on experience with several of: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Vercel, Next.js, Uniform, Akamai or another enterprise CDN, edge computing, and AWS
Experience operating and supporting cloud-based digital experience platforms
Experience with monitoring, observability, automation, incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Web Components, CI/CD, and cloud deployment practices
Working knowledge of software integration processes and functions
Ability to design, develop, and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages
Extensive experience with software development tools and activities
Extensive experience in software product design
Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams

Successful completion of a drug screen required
