About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, integrate, validate, and deploy remote services on vehicles or machines
Integrate hardware, software, communications, and cloud-based services for remote monitoring, diagnostics, software updates, data analytics, and fleet management
Work cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, cybersecurity, and service teams
Develop system requirements, interface definitions, and functional specifications
Translate customer, regulatory, and business requirements into technical system solutions
Define remote service strategies and support product group alignment and adoption
Improve system tools and support system teams in deploying and managing remote service features
Plan and track system-level testing, validation, and verification
Support vehicle- or machine-level integration testing in lab, bench, and field environments
Improve remote services features using field data and customer feedback
Provide people and technical leadership in system integration and software development
Provide program status and development timing updates to stakeholders and product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Knowledge of problem-solving approaches, tools, and techniques
Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications
Ability to develop embedded systems to control machine operations
Knowledge of requirements analysis tools, methods, and techniques
Ability to elicit, analyze, and record business functionality and non-functionality requirements
Experience and knowledge of embedded systems and multi-system integration
Involvement with NPI deployment in machine programs
Ability to resolve critical or wide-impact problems using standard problem-solving practices, tools, and processes
Strong communication skills
Ability to work full-time onsite at the Mossville, IL office
Successful completion of a drug screen
Travel requirement of 10%
