About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, test, and maintain web applications and APIs using SQL, Oracle, or Postgres backends
- Develop Forms, MVC web applications/APIs, and batch processes supporting business functions
- Collaborate with business units to understand processes and data needs and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in requirements analysis, software design, and architecture development
- Troubleshoot issues and develop patterns around reported issues
- Provide techno-functional guidance and support based on customer business ecosystems and existing solutions
- Provide project updates to technical leads and senior developers
- Create documentation throughout the software development life cycle
- Participate in project planning and delivery meetings
- Develop and maintain supply chain software solutions using .NET, C#, and Angular
- Manage and optimize Postgres and Oracle databases for data integrity and performance
- Lead and execute GitHub migration projects
- Keep current with technologies and methodologies in supply chain management and software development
- Build relationships with business stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning and solution development
- Take ownership of projects and implement improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of professional IT programming experience with .NET, C#, Web Forms, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
- 2+ years of working knowledge of cloud technologies and components, including Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Strong expertise in .NET and .NET Core
- Good understanding of Web API, REST, and HTTP protocols
- Ability to collaborate with developers, database administrators, and stakeholders
- Knowledge of TFS, GitHub, Git, or similar source control environments
- Proven experience managing Postgres and Oracle databases
- Understanding of OOP, coding practices, and development processes
- Knowledge of design patterns, architectures, and application performance best practices
- Good understanding of Angular, React JS, or Vue JS (nice to have)
- Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps
- Ability to resolve conflicts constructively and maintain positive team relationships
- Understanding of supply chain processes and translating business needs into technical solutions (nice to have)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience in the field
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Passion for learning and personal growth, with initiative to expand knowledge and skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Must work onsite five days a week
