Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver Caterpillar's digital marketing projects from design, development, configuration, and deployment
Build a world-class platform aligned with department goals and CAT Digital Strategy
Architect and operationalize multichannel marketing capabilities
Supervise platform health end to end, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for high availability, resilience, and scalability
Manage own work assignments and coordinate work with others independently with minimal management input
Drive application deployment focused on delivering business-value features
Mentor and assist software engineers, providing technical assistance and direction
Establish quality standards, practices, and habits within the team
Identify and encourage areas for team growth and improvement
Guide development of structured application/interface code, program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides
Work with other applications to ensure timely execution of Salesforce Marketing campaigns according to business requirements
Perform other duties assigned by Caterpillar management

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 7+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Preferably more than one Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
Solid experience working with clients across Digital Marketing programs in campaign creation, campaign execution, and Marketing Cloud administration
Experience as a Salesforce developer is an added advantage
Proven experience creating data models, queries, and custom data extensions for advanced segmentation, personalization, and analytics
Proven experience with AMPscript, SQL, Cloud Pages, and script-based automation
Experience integrating data into Marketing Cloud
Experience with multi-channel journeys using Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and related tools
Solid understanding of relational databases, data governance, and management best practices
Knowledge of Google Analytics tools and segmentation tools such as High touch is an added advantage
Experience in Agile Methodology or SDLC practices
Experience delivering component, product, and/or enterprise architecture in public cloud and/or hybrid ecosystems
Understanding of enterprise data integration and analytical platforms
Extensive experience and domain knowledge in manufacturing or automotive industries
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies and stay current with trends
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Excellent command of English and ability to communicate professionally
