About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Java applications, including frontend and backend components
Collaborate with different teams to modernize legacy components using updated frameworks, architectures, and design patterns
Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability
Manage application source code with CI/CD pipelines
Apply security concepts throughout the application lifecycle and remediate vulnerabilities
Perform programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision
Identify and resolve complex application and technical problems, including off-shift and weekend support calls
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Support and enhance existing applications
Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection
Document software designs, processes, and implementation details
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with design, analysis, programming, integration, debugging, testing, and implementation activities to deliver software solutions to business
Proven experience in Java development for both frontend and backend systems
Strong experience with Angular
Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
Experience with architecture and design of large-scale systems focused on performance, scalability, high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance
Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot for software development and testing
Understanding and experience using AI/GenAI for automation
Experience implementing security concepts in application development and deploying on cloud platforms such as AWS
Experience with vulnerability remediation and automating security measures in application development
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
This position requires working onsite five days a week
