About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support product regulatory compliance programs through activities that manage compliance risk and ensure compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements
Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements and their application to Caterpillar products
Follow established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information for product certification and compliance
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for product regulatory compliance risk-management processes and tools
Collaborate with product groups, design control, and operations to ensure products meet applicable regulatory requirements
Lead, plan, execute, and facilitate compliance projects, meeting series, and investigations between component design engineering and regional product compliance experts
Maintain market access for electronics components and kits in a changing regulatory environment
Travel 10%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes
Knowledge of product development methods and best practices
Knowledge of risk management processes, tools, and techniques
Accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborative techniques and ability to work constructively with varied individuals and groups
Decision-making and critical-thinking skills
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to understand and communicate technical information effectively across teams
Experience with electronic components and/or machine/engine electronic systems
Experience with electronic component regulations, e.g. EU EMC Directive, EU Radio Equipment Directive, EU CRA, EU Battery
Bachelor's Degree
