About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and support Akeneo, including workflow implementation, attribute modeling, and taxonomy setup
Maintain and support Informatica P360 during the transition period
Build and maintain Akeneo extensions and custom capabilities using the Akeneo Extension SDK
Build and troubleshoot REST API integrations between Akeneo and upstream and downstream systems
Support P360-to-Akeneo migration engineering, including data mapping, validation, and cutover support
Resolve data defects and product data quality issues during enrichment or migration
Establish and follow reusable PIM engineering patterns across domains
Participate in code and design reviews
Follow CI/CD practices for releases

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Akeneo (or a comparable PIM platform) configuration and implementation, or strong aptitude to ramp quickly
Working knowledge of Informatica P360 or similar MDM/PIM platforms is a plus
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
Comfortable with npm and building SDK-based extensions
Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML data structures, and integration patterns
SQL proficiency for data validation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking (Jira/Azure DevOps)
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across platform, data, and integration issues
Hands-on technical background in Akeneo
Strong architecture and solution-design review experience, including API and integration design
Experience leading platform migrations
Comfortable owning delivery execution, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release readiness
Strong communicator who can align architecture, business, and delivery teams
Knowledge of decision-making processes and associated tools and techniques
Knowledge of software development tools and activities
Knowledge of software development life cycle
Knowledge of software integration processes and functions
Knowledge of software product design
Must be located in Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL; Broomfield, CO; or Irving, TX
