About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform analysis to identify and develop business improvement opportunities and evaluate ROI
  • Provide direct supply-chain support for the marine commercial team and dealers
  • Identify, define, and lead implementation of integrated supply-chain solutions and performance improvements
  • Build internal and external alliances to explore opportunities
  • Establish and strengthen partnerships, linkages, and best practices with business partners and internal functions
  • Develop and analyze data to identify and prioritize opportunities for improved performance, cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships
  • Provide Assurance of Supply support for marine Territory Sales Managers and dealers
  • Lead Dealer S&OP meetings to align sales pipeline with factory availability
  • Host weekly Demand and Supply meetings with the marine commercial team to review prioritization needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and tools; ability to determine root causes and create alternative solutions
  • Understanding of inter-team collaboration and ability to lead cross-functional communication and problem solving
  • Knowledge of decision-making processes and critical-thinking tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of project-management strategies and tactics
  • Knowledge of supply-chain-management functions, principles, and techniques for manufacturing
