About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support trade compliance assessments, reviews, and assurance activities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of policies, procedures, controls, and risk mitigation measures
- Review trade compliance activities, documentation, and transactional data
- Identify compliance risks, control gaps, process weaknesses, and improvement opportunities
- Interact with business partners to gather information and discuss observations
- Assist with developing corrective actions
- Manage assessment documentation and applicable record-keeping requirements
- Track corrective actions
- Prepare analyses and materials for management review
- Collect, validate, and analyze information from multiple sources
- Analyze reports and transactional data for trends, anomalies, and compliance risks
- Prepare assessment reports, presentations, and management summaries
- Support compliance metrics, reporting tools, and assessment documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or equivalent experience desired
- Knowledge of international trade markets, issues, regulations, practices, and operations
- Ability to apply international trade knowledge in diverse situations
- Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate SOPs
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
- Problem-solving skills
- Data gathering and reporting skills
- Knowledge of customer support policies, standards, and procedures
- Must work onsite five days per week in the Irving, TX or Peoria, IL office
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Successful completion of a drug screen required for employment
