  • Manage and oversee employee and visitor access to restricted areas
  • Verify proper credentials
  • Prevent prohibited or restricted items from entering or exiting the premises
  • Maintain thorough surveillance of the assigned restricted area
  • Provide high-quality customer service to employees and visitors
  • Maintain vigilance and situational awareness
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in all interactions
  • Ensure security protocols are followed meticulously
  • Work autonomously during designated shifts
  • Adapt to changing conditions in fast-paced or slower-paced environments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report to the Site Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in government or military facilities
  • Familiarity with government security regulations and access control systems
  • Additional certifications in security or related fields
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Valid state driver’s license in good standing
  • Must be able to pass a background check, including possible additional project/client checks
  • Completion of the Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System (TAPAS) assessment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to changing priorities, and learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently and on a multifunctional team
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work onsite in a professional secure facility
  • Ability to walk 3 to 5 miles per shift
  • Ability to stand continuously for up to 60 minutes and for prolonged periods
  • Periodic ladder climbing and frequent stairs/ramps
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to push or pull 50–75 lbs. using assistive devices as needed
  • Standard visual acuity, including near, far, and peripheral vision
  • Normal color vision required for electrical tasks
