About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write, review, and refactor back-end code using Java and Spring Boot
Write front-end code using Angular v17 or higher
Develop and optimize PostgreSQL database interactions
Use AI tools for boilerplate code generation, unit test creation, and application modernization
Ensure AI-generated code follows security protocols, AWS cloud architecture best practices, and PostgreSQL standards
Manually validate, debug, optimize, and refine AI-generated code
Conduct code reviews and implement performance enhancements
Collaborate with architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise requirements and project goals
Perform other duties as assigned
Report to the Program Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5+ years of overall software engineering experience
At least 3+ years of experience developing secure, scalable Java/Spring Boot services
At least 3+ years of experience building responsive and dynamic Angular interfaces (v17 or higher)
Over 3+ years of experience implementing and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas and queries
Hands-on experience in AI-assisted development workflows
Exceptional proficiency in debugging and resolving system issues
Strong expertise in modern architectural design patterns
Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud environments
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
Must be able to pass a background check
Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to work on-site in a professional office environment
Ability to work extended periods, use computers and office productivity tools, and sit for long periods
May be required to work flexible schedules, holidays, outside normal business hours, and travel
